Andrew Sheldon (Andrew Sheldon Crooks) is an Australian author, investor and critical analyst. His 20-year career included commercial experience as an energy analyst with international energy consultants Barlow Jonker, specializing in coal and power markets, commercial due diligence reporting for capital raisings for WHI Securities on the AIM equity market, and trading stocks, forex, commodities as a professional trader in a number of Australasian countries.
Andrew grew up in Sydney, Australia. His education particulars include an elementary education at Knox Grammar School, a BSc degree (geology & geophysics) from Macquarie University in 1991 and a post-graduate diploma from the University of NSW in Mining Engineering. Informal education has nevertheless incorporated systematic studies in philosophy, psychology, economics and finance, which have supplemented university coursework.
